Cocodrilarium

In the Popoyote Lagoon at Playa Linda.

Rich in vegetation, this lagoon-estuary next to Playa Linda is home to native wildlife, especially the spectacular crocodiles of all ages that live here.

Crocodile

It is an important attraction, especially for children, to observe these carnivorous reptiles in their native habitat, yet within a safely fenced-off area near the road.

National and local organizations are protecting this tropical American species called Crocodylidae.

Newborn Crocodile

Crocodiles are cold-blooded (their body temperature varies according to the temperature of its surroundings) and highly intelligent, they can grow as large as six meters (20 feet).
